Paul Falardeau was born in Quebec City, the focus of his paintings is primarily the beautiful Charlevoix region some 60 klm east. As a young man he attended evening courses for two years at École des Beaux-Arts later joining up with well known Quebec artists such as Bruno Côte to form the first School of Painting in Quebec City.
Most of the time you will find Paul near a mountainside or along a stretch of water, wherever light and shadows, simplicity of forms and harmony of colours make it possible to interpret nature's poetry with ease.
He has participated in many exhibitions including the "Été Indien" exhibition held in Geneva, Switzerland in 1990 and the five painting symposium held in Magog, Quebec from 1989 to 1993.
His is a life member of the Institute of Figurative Arts of Canada.
You will find his works among several private and corporate art collections in Canada and abroad.
